AlMalki Group & Timsoft – A win-win partnership for Digital Retail
Dubai, Tunis, November 2021 – Timsoft Group is proud to announce its recent collaboration with the prestigious retail player in the Middle East region, AlMalki Group. As a technology partner, Timsoft has supported AlMalki Group in several IT projects around their Retail Solutions, with services ranging from system integration to support and maintenance.
The partnership of the two groups was kicked-off in 2021 and will continue over the next years. Timsoft is bringing on the table its extensive experience in ERPs and information systems in general but more specifically its know-how of Retail IT and the Cegid* product and ecosystems. Without any doubt, Timsoft – Cegid partner since 2005 – has the required expertise when it comes to delivering high performing retail ecosystems in Cegid Retail Y2.
Timsoft team, composed of our Head of Digital Services, Ahmed Gharbi, our retail Delivery Manager, Wajdi Oueld Falleh, and 2 Cegid Retail consultants worked hand in hand with AlMalki Group team, led by Daniel Gomez, Chief Digital Officer, and Sergio Rodriguez, Head of Technology and Program Management. In the Covid context, both teams collaborated exclusively remotely for months before they finally meet in Dubai in November. It was a very smooth communication and fruitful collaboration.
AlMalki Group is following an impressive and inspiring growth curve and has launched new brands in the GCC. Neuhaus is one of the latest brands that the group has partnered with. Timsoft team had the opportunity to plan and execute the deployment of Cegid Retail Y2 and MPOS in two stores.
One of the main added value of Timsoft was on the interfaces development. AlMalki Group, with its rich yet complex IT ecosystem, needed to connect Cegid with other bricks such as Sage, SAP and Mulesoft (Salesforce product). Our team handled these developments from analysis to deployment and will continue in the upcoming months to deliver an exciting project, S4HANA interfaces with Cegid.
