Being deprived of face-to-face meetings for 2 years due to the pandemic, Timsoft, an active player on the Parisian Tech-Retail scene, wanted to mark the return to “normal life” in the coolest way possible. What could be better than a friendly after work party?
That’s how Timsoft & Friends was born, and it took place on April 7, 2022. The Café Français (Beaumarly) was the venue for this pleasant event. Who was there, you might ask? Let’s just say that we had a nice representation of the entire Timsoft ecosystem: partners, customers and Timsofters in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Anecdotally, we were able to bring together about forty people. Even our biggest videoconferences have not done better.
Some long-standing partners honoured us with their presence. We would like to mention Cegid – which has been with us for over 17 years. It is often said that in human relations, nothing beats direct contact. Our valued guests confirm this.
They took full advantage of the opportunity to reconnect, meeting in the flesh people with whom they had long exchanged online, and together they met the challenges imposed by the pandemic. There was even a chance to project themselves and to forge strong links with new partners and future clients.
For more than three hours, the RETAIL topic was on everyone’s lips: we heard about POS here, mobile applications in shops there. Even web 3.0 and NFTs in the luxury sector were discussed. All in good humour and goodwill
Timsoft’s management did not fail to reiterate the company’s unwavering commitment to supporting major retailers in their digital projects at all levels.
Far from being a sales event, Timsoft & Friends was a great opportunity to share some updates and news about Timsoft – which now employs 150 people.
Timsoft was well represented with the notable presence of our founder Tarek Trabelsi and our CEO Carlos Navarro. The latter made a point of warmly thanking the friends of Timsoft who attended the initiative.
He also recalled that :
“Our vision of retail has changed and with it our ability to help retailers meet their challenges in an omnichannel and international world – we want to continue to evolve with our clients and partners to offer support in the deployment of extraordinary customer experiences – in store and digital.”Said Carlos Navarro.
We intend to hold more of these meetings in the future so that we can always be close to our customers and serve them in the best possible way. We have already had experience with the Retail Breakfast. Moreover, our guests seem to appreciate it.
